Hi!

At first I KNOW THAT OUTLOOK INCLUDE RULES/FILTERS!!!!!!
but when you store your mails on a Microsoft Exchange Server
the rules are limited (32 K per user ..... 64 rulez).

For this reason I need an extra tool to filter my mails local on my machine
and put the mails in some folders after the mails arrived into the inbox folder.

Exist a tool like this?

OR:

Although the limit of 32 K exist I can still create rules on my machine....only the 64
rulez are updated on the Exchange server....for this reason it would be cool to have a script
or tool that run automaticly all my rules on the Inbox as "Run Rules Now..." button do that.
this is the solution!!! ;)

regards,

Beware:

I mention the following only for consideration. If you should decide to try any of the following applications I suggest you do your own research first. I am looking into some of the programs for my own needs but I am still in my own research phase so I cannot recommend any of the programs as of yet.

You may want to look at:

Outclass (requires POPFile to function)

Outclass: http://www.vargonsoft.com/Outclass/

POPFile: http://popfile.sourceforge.net/

I do know that POPFile requires considerable user input for it to function correctly if used by itself but the Outclass "Frequently Asked Questions" state something entirely different for when using POPFile with Outclass.

So here are the FAQs:

I need to upgrade the Beware: I gave for my suggestion of Outclass and POPFile in the above post to Worth looking into.

I do not have Outlook but I have installed POPFile to go in front of my MailWasher program and based on this experience I can suggest that the combination of OutClass and POPFile mentioned in the above post could be a useful weapon against spammers for users of Outlook. The price can't be beat either (both applications are offered free).

I would suggest some heavy reading of the above links to get an idea of what each application does and how they interact together.

Here's a link to the POPFile discussion group:
