My outlook attachments are a bunch of letters & numbers and the computer is asking what language to pick. These are simple Word 2007 files. I had this problem before and just made one quick change and it corrected it but I cannot remember what that was.

Clarification: When I try to open a PDF document, it tries to open it in Word 2007. Right clicking it does not give me the opportunity to change the program with which to open it - not an option.

Well, I just fixed it! I had to go out of Outlook and into a PDF document, right clicked it and said to open it in Adobe, not Outlook, and it also made the changes to my attachments in email as well. Maybe this will help someone else in the future.
