I've been forced to use a backup copy of my .pst file in Outlook 2003.

The import goes well enough - I completed a backup only a few days ago, so the data is current.

However - when the import comletes, none of my contacts appear. Email is perfectly fine, but no contacts.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I may be mistaken but I don't think your contacts are part of your mail pst.
If you successfully imported your pst (mail), I don't think it is corrupt.

At least you can recreate your contacts from your mail.

Move contacts to another computer

Hi Ruefus

If you are unable to see the Contacts folder.
In Outlook 2003,
Go > Folder list
Should show the folders again.

On the navigation bar, clicking on the Folder List icon should also make all the Folders in your Personal Folders appear.

It is not necessary to Import the file.
You can open the file in Outlook 2003 instead:
File > Open > Outlook Data File
Browse to the .pst file.

Let us know if you are able to see your Contacts folder.
