Are you even running Exchange?? If you're just using Outlook for basic POP3 access, Outlook 2007 is the only version currently that has this function.

Hi, I am alittle "slow" on the computer skills! I do enough to get around but otherwise need a walk through. I appreciate your reply.
Thanks,Cindy

In a nutshell, Exhchange is just another way for users to send/receive email through a mail server. POP3 is what most home users use if running Outlook. What version of Outlook do you have??

Even with Outlook2007, it still says you need an Exchange server to share Outlook calendars.
So the requirement is not so much what version of Outlook you have, but whether you are using an Exchange server or not. And that person in the other state would need to be doing the same. My guess at this point would be that you are not both using the same exchange server at all.

Now you can go through publishing your calendar but that is not quite the same thing.

Publishing your calendar would be the closest thing if you both are not on the same Exchange Server. I've tried it before and it works pretty good.
