My laptop died (motherboard), but luckily I had ALL of my data backed up, with one exception the Outlook.pst file.
I do have my HD from the laptop, and the proper IDE/SATA cables to transfer data. When I set up my new laptop and install Outlook, what is the best way to get the old PST file into the new installation of Outlook. Should I do it at the command line?

    Best Regards,

    zalax

You can import from the old one, or drag and drop it to the new drive. When I do that, I place the pst file in a Folder in My Documents ( Outlook ) so that when I back up my documents, the pst file is backed up.
