We have a laptop running Windows 2000 on a WinNT server and Office XP.
At first Outlook would say that the program did not close properly and it wanted to start in safe mode. When I selected yes OR no it would just freeze up and newer open Outlook.
I though a file was corrupted so I removed Outlook XP and reinstalled Outlook 2003. Now Outlook 2003 just says it can not access the Exchange server. When I tell it to work offline it says "...the set of folders could not be opened".
I found a thread that suggested I change the outcmd.dat to otcmd.old but when I did a search for this file it did not find it.
I tried outlook /safe and outlook /cleanviews and nither worked. Is there something special I should do since this is attached to a server?
I also did a search for *.pst and it found nothing.
Thanks in advance.
