On occasion I have experienced problems when opening Outlook. The minute the program starts to check for mail it crashes and states that it has performed an illegal function. It seems to be this way for a couple of weeks, then it will be fine for a day or two and start again. I have been down now for three weeks. I have even downloaded the most recent version of outlook from the net and still have the problem. I have also scanned for any viruses that may have this problem (virus clean).
I am running Win 98B with all the newest upgrades from microsoft.
The error message that it states, is as follows;

MSIMN caused an exception C0000006H in module DIRECTDB.DLL at 017F: 02F05556

Anyone have any suggestions.

:confused:
