If you first Export msg in OE Files>Export>messages...Outlook should import OE5 msg just fine as they are the same format as OE6...OE4 use different format (*.idx) but 5&6 are the same

Ok here is the next problem than - I took the drive that had OE 5 on it and put it in a new system that has a new drive. I figured this would make it easier to transfer data. So now if I start of the old version the old messagfes just don't seem to be there - is there a pst file like in the full version of outlook?? If so where???

*.pst file..no *.dbx yes.... do search for *.dbx files (They are hidden by default so set to view hidden files&folders) if you find them and still can't get the info from them after pointing OE to them ; use DBXTract by Dr. Steve Cochran M.S. MVP, to pulll msg out of the files
    DBXTract (free)
