    I am trying to send a message in Incredimail but get the fault. 502 command is locally disabled? I am told that OE6 causes this problem on '98 How can i overcome this? do I delete 6 which I'm told is immposible or is there another way? Please be gentle, I am a Dum Dum on computers, (Pensioner!) Many thanks in anticipation..John

    Incredimail is Non-Microsoft certified third-party software and free and therefore not guarateed to work with Windows and you accept it 'as is'. I recommend you uninstall Incredimail. If it doesn't work don't use it. Kind of like usual.


    Use the following on-line scanner etc.

    Update your antivirus, temporarily disable your screen saver (choose None) and scan with your anti-virus set to scan All Files. Update and scan bi-monthly.

    You can scan on-line to double-check your Windows scanner at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

    *** Mandatory (get a firewall of any brand) - Get free Sygate personal firewall anti-hacker countermeasure from http://www.sygate.com. 'Don't let anything out to the Internet you don't know what it is.' Also please see http://www.firewallguide.com/ for more information on why all on-line home computers should be firewall enabled.
