Do you have Microsoft Word installed and is it working correctly?

Did it ever work? You should also verify that Always check spelling is enabled in Tools> Options> Spelling tab.Outlook Express doesn't have a spell checker itself, if you have Word installed on your computer you can use the spell checker in it. In Internet Options> Programs tab, you can set Microsoft Word as the HTML editor. If you don't have word, then there are spell checkers that you can install to use. Just Google for them or maybe someone that uses one will give you a recommendation for one.
