because of MSOE.DLL could not be loaded. This message comes up when I try to start up my Outlook Express. I have Windows 98 and just started having problems yesterday. I called a local computer repair place, told him what was happening, I had NortonSystemWorks. To maybe help out, he suggested to get uninstall it and download AVG for my virus protection. It did help my computer run better, but still have that darn message coming up! I'm pratically a newborn when it comes to computers, do some hunt and pecking and sometimes it works, other times, I've screwed it up. Can anybody be of assistance? Please???

An alternative to fixing it might be to just reinstall it - right over your existing copy. If you are using IE6 / OE6, go to Microsoft and just download/install IE6 again. OE is part of the IE package.

All your settings and emails should remain intact.
