How do you compose an email and store it in the drafts folder to send at a later date?

One way is to type your e-mail and instead of clicking "send" you click on the X as if you were closing it. You will get a box asking if you want to save the message to your drafts so you just click on yes.

There may be a more scientific way but this one works too.

    click send
drag message from outbox to draft folder (or any other folder you want)

Duh note: DO NOT have the 'send message immediately' box checked in tools, options, send if you use this method

    cookiegals method obviously safer
