After connecting to the Internet and then opening Outlook Express to read my Email I am getting the following message.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.earthlink.net', Server: '205.152.58.143', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

    Please help.

    thomask5,

    Welcome!

In Outlook Express, go to Tools > Accounts > Mail > Properties >Servers.

Change the 'Incoming mail(POP3):' from 205.152.58.143 to pop.earthlink.net.

While you're there, check the 'Outgoing mail(SMTP):', it should be smtp.earthlink.net.

    I hope this helps.

I will try, In Outlook Express, go to Tools > Accounts > Mail > Properties > Servers.
