    hi...

i have Windows ME, with the newest edition of Microsoft Outlook. Every time I get an e-mail with an attachment, I got a message on top of the e-mail saying, "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail:..." I'd understand this, if the file had a virus, but it does it for all incoming e-mails I get. How can I disable this.

    Thanks a bunch,

    ryan.

You say you have "the latest version of Microsoft Outlook", yet your question relates to Outlook Express.
These are two totally separate applications, so I will assume at this stage you mean Outlook Express.

    In OE, TOOLS-OPTIONS-SECURITY

Unitick "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened ......"

If your question relates to Outlook, then post back.

Go to tools/options and then click the security tab.

    Uncheck the option :

" Do not allow Attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

This happens to everyone who first installs Outlook express 6, it's annoying. Your virus scanner will protect you.
