I have an email address with my ISP. When I lauch Outlook Express it defaults to my main identity. I have Internet Explorer 5 and I have Windows 4 NT. My wife was clever and set up a second identity for her hotmail email in the Outlook Express box. (which I recently found out she should not have done.) It was working fine for a couple of weeks. Then it got locked up when I switched from Main Identity to Her Identity. I rebooted and now whenever I lauch Outlook Express (either from the start menu or from the shortcut) I get an hourglass to tell me something is starting to work and then it does nothing....

Help! I am locked out of my email.
I had to use my wife's email address just to post this question.

Anxiously waiting to see if someone can help. Tom R.

How can I recreate the profile without getting into Outlook Express? Or is there a way to delete Her Identity since she can get to her hotmail account from anywhere?
Also, I can get on the internet with my ISP but not into Outlook Express.

When the hourglass shows up, aren't you able to click on send/recv. If you can do that, there's a option to cancel mail download.
Once you're in OE, you know what to do right?
    BTW, OE doesn't support Hotmail.

    Ratboy,
thank you for the information. Didn't know that.
That was the main reason I chose yahoo mail...
Maybe the documents I read about was referring to older version of OE.
