I tried to export my outlook express address book to my new palm pilot, and in the process, the address book somehow became deleted, much to my dismay. I found it and reinstalled it, but ever since, the usual process of sending an email to someone on the list requires a long process.

I type in part of the address, the rest appears as it is supposed to, but when I hit SEND, it comes up with SHOW MORE NAMES, then it shows me the name I chose, I click on that, and then click on OK.

I am told that when I reinstalled the addresses, I did it in such a way that it doesn't recognize the list anymore.

Anyone have any ideas?

thank you,

sounds like its searching both addressbooks.

Maybe you should uninstall the deleted one & the one thats installed now. Then reinstall a fresh addressbook one final time.

I really am only guessing, so you use your own judgement on this reply.
