    Hi All , my OE has gone out on me . I can send mail , but I cannot receive mail. Any ideas?
    I am using W98 SE . Thanks . Chaseddie

    check the settings for OE mail
    make sure you still have the correct SMTP and MAil settings for thepop servers

    tools
    accounts
    mail tab
    highlight your account
    properties
    servers tab

    whats there?

    For receiving mail make sure your:

    POP server
    Account Name
    and Password are all correct

    you say to edit and remove your email address and password info . How and where do i do this ?

    you probably cant now - each post has an icon at the bottom to edit
    but when you add a new post i think you lose that option

    I have asked a moderator to look for you

    You can edit your post if it's within 24 hours but I've done it for you. You should not post such sensitive information on the Internet.

    Start Outlook Express
    Tools / Accounts
    Click on the Mail tab
    Highlight your mail account
    Click on Properties

    Make sure your information is correct.

    You can also double check with whoever is hosting your e-mail to make sure.

    "Highlight" means "click on".
