    Hi,
Today Outlook in office 2000 pro decided to hangup. I double click the icon, and the window that says Outlook 2000 goes on screen, then nothing else happens. I've reinstalled Office, but no help. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

You might want to check if your mail server is down.

Thanks, but this isn't about communicating with the server, it's about starting Outlook. Outlook won't open, it freezes.

I had a problem like that when I had installed microsoft project. It apparently moved some dlls so I reinstalled outlook and it worked fine after that.
