When I try to open outlook 2000 on my ME box I am getting this error "Outlook has caused an error in msvcrt.dll". The application starts to open then this error displays and the application closes.

I have replaced msvcrt.dll with a newer version. didn't help
I have replaced msvcrt.dll with the version from the office 2000 disk (the orginal file) didn't help
I then tried running the repair tool via office 2000 again to no avial.

    Does anyone have any suggestions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Outlook express works. However, I have a lot of addresses and e-mails that I need to recover from the Outlook 2000 application.
