Has anyone ever seen this message before?

    OUTLOOKHTMLMENU:IEXPLORE.EXT - Application Error
The instruction at "0x01b01978" referenced memory at "0x00000001".
The memory could not be written.

I have tried to do a search on MSKB but came up with 0 results.
    Any help would be great.

    Hi BoWillis,

It could be this from what little I could garner off the net.

Run trend micro as described therein, and see if that sorts it out. If not, you know the drill.. :D

    Download 'Hijack This!' from http://www.spywareinfo.com/files/hijackthis.zip
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, click "Save Log", and copy and paste it in a reply.

This will give us a rundown of what’s going on in your PC. One of us here will be glad to analyse it for you. Don’t fix anything yourself yet, as a lot of the stuff on that list will be harmless or required.

    Cheers

    Liam

Unfortunately, I will not be able to run a HJT Log. Corporate PC and not allowed the convenicence? This seemed to be more of an error with a setting rather an error with a rogue app? But I don't know.

I'll check into the registry and run some spyware software but if anyone sees this and recognizes the issue please let me know.
