Hi donatbollonk

Welcome to Tech Support Guy Forums!

Is this for Outlook?
If so, what version?

Or, for Outlook Express?
If Outlook Express, you can create a password for your Identity.
File > Identities > Manage Identities
Select the Identity, click Properties.
Assign a password.

You can also download a small script to force Outlook Express to always ask for a password, or create the script yourself, see the script here:
Force Identity Logon

Let us know what program you are using.

See this link:

It won't keep Outlook 2002 from being opened just the folders associated with the .pst file (that has a password) from being accessed when you Exit the Outlook session.

Let us know if that helps or not.

Since the Inbox is part of the PST file, that is exactly what you want to do.

One way is while Outlook is running, right click on Personal Folders, Properties, Advanced button, Change Password button
