I have a mailing list as Outlook contacts. There are almost 3000 contacts there. I use a gmail account to which I connect using the IMAP protocol.

Over the past couple months I have been sending an identical email to these contacts and managed to get through about half of them and then I had to reinstall Outlook. By doing so I lost record of which contacts I sent the mail to and which ones I didn't. There is no way I am going to be able to manually look in the sent folder and search individually to separate them as sent and not sent. I also do not want to spam my contact by sending them the same mail twice.

Does anyone have any ides how I can identify the ones that I have sent the mail to and split them out?
