Outlook Not Responding

I have Outlook 2019 Home & Business installed. I'm constantly getting "Outlook Not Responding" while the (long) synchronization of my email accounts (3 IMPAP) and folders is taking place.

I've tried reinstalling the program but the same thing happens.

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!

"Not Responding" normally appears when there is a need for more RAM and/or swap.

It would be helpful for starters by telling us the make & model of the your computer?
Also please download our free system info utility from the following link:
https://static.techguy.org/download/tsginfo.exe
After it's been downloaded and saved, double-click it to run it.
Information about your computer will appear.
Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE text here.

OK, that looks good, but since you are using IMAP and not POP, the Outlook MUST go to each server and see what is different. Some servers are slow in giving access.

Also not that if one has lots of files and folders on these servers, then they in turn will slow things down.

Is there anything I can do to improve this? Every time I open and use Outlook it hangs with the "Outlook Not Responding" message while it's syncing and I have to restart it....

Thanks

How long have you waited when you see this NOT responding message?

Some times it may take a minute of two to finish.
You are syncing 3 IMAP accounts how many folders in each and do all three have the same folders?

NOTE: I do NOT use IMAP and do not sync

I've typically waited about 10 minutes or so before it happens. One of the accounts has a lot of folders. The other two don't. They each have different folders because they are with different Email providers/institutions.

Should I decrease one (or some of these) things so the syncing doesn't get stalled?

Is it saying "Outlook Not Responding" an requiring me to restart because there are just too many folders?

Maybe I should try deleting two of the accounts, sync, and then add back the other two one at a time?

I would delete ALL that does NOT need to be synced from all accounts.
