Hi Guys,

When I am reading an email in Outlook 2007 occasionally I will see in the bottom that my outlook is sending an email ie. "sending email 1 of 1" and "email sent succesfully" although I am not sending any emails.... I check my sent email folder and no new emails are logged........
Can someone explain what this may be??

Thanks

Perhaps virus scan?

Check in Outlook Express Tools > Options > Security Tab > Virus Protection section. See if there's a check next to "Warn Me When Other Applications try and Send Mail As Me."

**Edit **

I just noticed you are using Outlook. I'm not familiar with the internal workings of Outlook, but perhaps there's something like I described.
