On my laptop running Windows XP I have noticed that whenever I have outlook running for period of time (in the background or open) it will start to lag my entire taskbar. I click the quick links in my taskbar and it takes several seconds (I think it depends on how long outlook has been open) or even longer. Same for start menu and any icons running on the right. I figured out it was outlook causing the issue because once I exit outlook I regain speeds. The only thing affected is the taskbar and I'm sure its not spyware/virus so I was hoping maybe someone here has experienced this before.

    It's Outlook 2003.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Still having this problem, I guess I will try an uninstall/reinstall.
