Outlook XP Contacts Problem

I can see my Contacts on the contact folder but they do not show up when I try to open them in my Inbox ---> New ---> To
I have tried to open a new address an import them to no avail. I know they are in OutlookContacs.pst but no dice either.

HELP!!!!!
