OutlookExpress Msimn error

    I am getting an error message at times in Outlook Express that closes down the program (big red circle with an X in it). The title of the error message is Msimn. Under the details icon it comes up with the following:

    MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in
    module URLMON.DLL at 017f:1a402498.

    Then there is quite a bit register et al gobble-di-gook...

    What needs to be fixed?

    It is probably best to address this in the Web and Email forum so I'm going to move the topic there.

    In the mean time I think you should verify the integrity of your system by doing an updated antivirus scan. You can do an online one here:


    You should also delete the Temporary Internet and History caches though Internet Options.

    And if you have IE5.5 or 6, install the security patch below:
