Well Recently I Posted About A Harddrive Failure...When It Really Wasnt A Harddrive Failure....Because I Just Figured Out That My Computer Is Like A Microwave...

    My Setup:

    3.0E Pentium 4 Prescott
    1GB Kingson PC3200 Ram
    160GB 7200RPM Western Digital Harddrive
    X800GTO 256MB Video Card
    5.1 Soundblaster Live

The Reason I Dont Understand Why It Would Overheat Is Because I Have A Performance CPU Fan, 3 80MM Fans, Side Airduct, And A Side Panel

My Computer Only Restarts From The Overheating When I Play Battlefield 2...

    Please Help Me...

    Thanks

Guess you could run it with the computer open and a house fan blowing into it to make sure it is a heat problem first>

You're bouncing all over the map! You have not even identified what your problem is, and already you're buying all sorts of expensive options! First stop, make sure the processor fan is running, clean ALL the dust out of the fans and heatsinks, and install a temperature monitor if you don't have one. See what the MB and processor temperatures are in relation to the room ambient temperature, and we can go from there.

Opening the side and blowing a big box fan onto the MB is a good diagnostic test, it's how I find out if a machine needs better case cooling.

If you just have an airduct rather than an airguide most airducts are either 80 or 92mm. Try installing an appropriate size fan on the airduct blowing towards the processor cooler.

Are your exhaust fans blowing in the correct direction, i.e. out of the case?
