I hope this isn't high-jacking the thread but seems I have about the same stats on my computer, but my idle temps are 80-90, then when I start doing stuff in Windows it goes up, apparently until it the computer shuts down. From what I can see, (and feel...), the hsf is moving.

I made another thread here earlier when I didn't know what was wrong: http://forums.techguy.org/windows-7/976188-computer-shuts-down-randomly-startup.html

    Any ideas?

I put this in your own thread. When you have a problem, please start your own thread rather than posting on someone else's thread. The reason for this is that with one issue per thread, it can be difficult at best to follow what has/has not been done. With multiple issues, it becomes just about impossible.

Now for your problem. Has this always overheated? Have you done anything to the system such as swap cpu or hsf?

Have you opened the case and given the system a good cleaning with a can of air? While it is open, verify that the hsf is in fact working.
