I've just put together a new computer p4pe, 512DDR RAM, 80GBHD. I loaded 98SE and everything was fine. I then loaded drivers for the ethernet connection and things started to go daft. The computer booted up in safe mode a couple of times, then booted normally to almost the windows logo and then hung. THe next time I switched it on it gave the post beep (one, meaning everything is ok) and then a very short beep, it gave this at the same time it was trying to access the hard disk (the hard disk led flicked for the duration of this beep (v.short.time)).

Now the computer will not boot at all, not even to the bios screen. There is the green standby light lit on the motherboard, when I press power on the fan starts and even the fan on the VGA card (i have tested )
