When I click on the update icon in control panel or the link at the left to check for updates I get the "page failed to load" message and nothing else. All of these links worked just a few days ago. What do I need to do to fix this issue?
Hi gregell,
Did you have any luck with your problem for I too have the same problem - windows update page blank. If you have had any success, could you let me know. - nobby4me.
The only luck I have had so far is to create a new user account with administrator privilege. I could then access the windows update links. However, my main account name which has all of the desktop and program configurations still gives me the same error message. Nothing else I have tried that was suggested in other forums has worked. I have not tried to restore the registry to a past date yet and my system restore points do not work.
Hi gregell,
Thanks for your reply, if I manage to work out my problem I will let you know. It may may help solve yours. - noddy4me.
