mmmm.... its just that i got tricked and i dont know what i want to exchange it with. i had my eye on the A70 but it seems so much bulkier than the f1! not to mention it's not in that price range. what cameras would you say are in that price range, and are 'better'. the features i want are well... obviously good image quality, movie with sound. preferably runs on AA's (i know F1's run on lithium ions). or at least comes with a rechargeable battery anyway.

The A70 is considerably less expensive. Are you saying you require an “equal to or greater than” price? Odd way to shop.

The Pentax S4 has a rebate going and you can get it delivered for less than the F1 lowball price after rebate. It is 4Mp and will fit in an Altoids tin. It also has more controls and features.

The Minolta G500 is a nice little camera you can grow into if you might progress beyond point and shoot. It is 5Mp and has full controls. It is about in the same price range of the F1.

Both the G500 and S4 come with lithium batteries and chargers. You won’t find anything in that size and weight with AAs.

Except for the one lowball price at Newegg the F1 is very pricey for its limited capabilities and Mp: http://shopping.com/xPC-Panasonic_DMC_F1~SRID-ed5e9a2717ec26fbc47c39e6

thanks guys. nah my parents kinda got ripped of in singapore so i'm trying to exchange cameras. i had my heart set on the A70.... but it's so much cheaper than what i bought my original digital camera for. i might settle for the fx1/f1 though. *heartbroken*
