    Hi People,

It has been a while and was pleased about that, it meant no problems ;) , but I have a new laptop and I have updated Panda Virusscan but it just won't scan. It'll say connecting to the server, it will start scanning for a couple of files and then jams every single time. I'm a little worried about it. Is it a setting that might be wrong?

Where are safe internet online scans I can do to see if I have something or another? Or do I need to make a seperate thread for that question in the malware forum? I am not really sure it is malware hence I posted here.

Hope somebody can help me out!

    Have a nice evening ;)

    Hi carine,
Open internet explorer click on help which is at the top, then navigate to the last option 'about'. U'll see if it is internet explorer 7 or 8

probably a malware is hindering the scans.

I recommend a complete formatting of your hard disk drive and then reinstalling windows... remember to back up your important data

This malware seems to be hindering your antivirus program too, if this malware keeps lurking, you're headed to one big disaster (please don't mistake me)

    BTW: Does panda update?

well how do I procede then?

Yes it does let me update I think. It does keep say the new date etc.

I also have problems signing into Hyves.nl a sort of facebook but Dutch. It keeps saying my password doesn't match the username eventhough I am 100% sure it is correct, could this also be because of that?

I am actually scanning the hard disk right now...ow wait it jammed again :(

What kind of malware are you thinking about? Could you explain a bit more? I'm not really a very technical person ;)

Thanx for all the help so far!
