    Hello everybody,

To be honest I'm not sure weather this is program-specific or just has something to do with a glitch in Windows or the specific system. Here goes:

When packing large files with WinRAR it is possible to add a Par or Par2 file for possible restoration of corrupted files. To open a Par-file I make use of a tool called QuickPar. This works fine. The problem occurs when I want to set the default opening application for this specific file type to QuickPar. When I browse to the .exe-file and hit Enter, it opens just fine but does not remember that I always want to open .par-files with QuickPar.

I know it's just a minor detail, but it would be nice if it works :)
The system is running Windows XP Pro with service pack 2.

If additional information is required, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance!
