    Looking for some advice.

I want my pre-teens to be able to download game patches, install new games, alter the computer files (to a certain extent) but dont want them to have access to porn sites and searches on the web.

They all have windows 7 on their laptops and I have installed the "windows live family safety" from the essential package download. The family safety monitoring site seems like a great solutions however, if I create a standard user account for them, they have to ask me for my password everytime they accees an oline game line combat arms or a patch downloads on world of warcraft. If I make them an administrator then they can turn off the parental controls by selecting "none" in the additional controls service provider drop down.

Can anyone suggest a third party solution or a settings solution that would work for what I want to do?

Windows 7, comcast internet with a linksys router - wireless connections on all the laptops.

    Thank you in advance.

Haven't tried this with Windows 7 but at work our security specialists configured group policies that allow 'power users' to install software but not modify accounts. Trying this at home I discovered why 'PC security' is a specialist job-but that might have just been me. YMMV.
