Partition Magic Questions

    When I opened the program, I saw two main partitions (C & D Drive). Now this is fine because that is how I set up my drive.

    The part which I have questions about is 266.7MB of 'extended'. What is "extended"?

    I have included a screenshot....

    Since I only have 10GB, I cant really afford some of my HD to go to waste

    You have your C drive (ntfs) primary active, with your OS on, then you have an extended drive in which D drive Logical is taking up all of the extended drive space, you are not wasting any space
