I have just purchased Partition Magic 8.0 and have a problem geting it installed. The program loads fine, but when you go to run it, it crashes the computer. The legal screen comes up and the hour glass runs and runs and the only way to get out is to turn off the computer.
The system is Windows 98SE CPU 800 meg with 256 RAM.
There is other minor problems like this site loading so slow.
Do I need to reinstall Windows 98? and if so how do I go about that?

I've seen a couple of people that have had similar problems with PM 8. FWIW, I've installed it on a W98 system with no problems, so it's not inherently incompatible. Since I've never seen the problem first-hand, I've never had a chance to determine what the problem is either.
