I recently had a Micorsoft update popup and accepted the update. After the update when my computer starts up it goes to a blue screen with an administrator icon. If I click on the icon it states "saving settings" and then "logging off" but it just stays on this screen. If I click on control, alt. delete I get the password screen. The user is the administrator requesting a password. I never set up this computer for password access since I had younger childern at the time. With no password they were able to long in with no hassles. I've tried several passwords but I normally write the password if I utilize one in my manual for save keeping but there isn't one there.

Is there any way I can skip over this password requirement and get into my original system? I've tried safe start and this didn't help. Is there a generic password to use that would override this system.

Please help as I have alot of information I don't want to loose not to mention all the software and my access to Yahoo DSL.

Since we can't help with passwords, we are limited to what we can do here.

Are you able to boot to safe mode or Safe mode with Command prompt?
