Could anyone tell me how to password protect a folder in word? Help tells you how to do it for a file, but not a folder.

I don't believe that MS-Word includes any support for applying password protection to a folder. It will only control password protection for individual Word files.

Windows XP Professional on an NTFS formatted hard drive allows you to encrypt a folder so that its contents can only be opened by the user that encrypted it. Any other user of the computer can look inside the folder but is blocked from opening or copying any files in the folder.
