i have a set of 5.1 Logitech speakers for my PC, they have the Green/Peach/Black cord on them. I have converter that converts Green/Black to White/Red for the Ps3. when i use this and my speakers, only one of the speakers works on the PS3 and the sub, nothing else, is this because my converter doesnt support the peach colored cord? if so will my PS3 just use the ONE speaker fine or will it try to send out 5.1 and not be able to?

The one speaker (your center channel) and the sub share the same cable. You would need to hook up the one from the PS3 to the green cable, but that will only get you two speakers (your front right and left).

Your best bet would be to hook the PS3 directly up to the input on your soundcard (usually blue) or the mic (usually red), and then the computer will process the sound and send it to the proper speakers (assuming your software is set up to expand stereo sound into surround).

The red and white connectors are your audio out of the PS3. You would just need a connector that converts those into a headphone jack. You can find something like that at most electronic stores. You would need a female rca to male 3.5mm jack

Then just plug the cables in and connect the 3.5mm jack to the blue input on your sound card. (You might need to check in your volume control and make sure "line in" is not muted.

Which Logitech speakers are they?

I do the same as you, on my control pad for the speakers, there is a matrix button which transforms a two channel input to an output through all 6 speakers.

mine has the matrix buttons but it still only goes thru the one center speaker and sub, maybe my speakers are broke.

Plug the ps3 into the green socket on the back of the subwoofer (labeled front). Then press the matrix button. This doesn't create a true surround sound, just a virtualised one. For games like modern warfare 2, I find it works very well, among par with turtlebeachs.

It's slighty different for me seeing as I have the X540 speakers. The matrix button will turn a 2 channel signal input through then green plug/connecter into a signal that will be output through all the speakers.

Basically, plug the ps3 audio into the green plug/socket and make sure the matrix button is pressed.
