I keep getting pop ups in the bottom right of my screen in another language. It said that I need to install the Chinese language pack so I did. But now instead of seeing gibberish its now perfect Chinese. Well I cant read Chinese.

I have looked on the support site for solving this problem and could find nothing on it. Anyone know how I can fix this and make it English?

Also should I install the Chinese language? Will it slow my computer down?

    Hiya

As you're getting popups, lets have a look at your log:

go to www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show other issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

    Regards

    eddie
