pc cleaner pro

I installed pc cleaner pro today and after that I am unable to connect to the internet. I use hughes net wired connection. I am running xp pro. I have went through reset windsock 2 and then removed both winsocks. still can not connect. internet icon says searching for ip address but after 3 hrs. that didn't fix anything. help

This is what i would do. Go into system restore and revert to a restore point before you installed pc cleaner pro. This way, your computer is exactly as it was before you installed the program. It should have created a restore point right before installing the program. If not, you can revert back to older versions, but you don't really want to do that.

PC Cleaner Pro is more than likely the cause of your problems. If it has a Restore feature, try using it and then get RID of it. Also, good advise from Purduebmaker7

I don't have xp, but you should be able to get there from going to
start menu
all programs
accessories
system tools
system restore
After that, you should be on system restore and able to revert back to a previous state of windows.
