    What is the best pc diagnostic tool out there? eg. bootable, finds hardware specs out, just an all around great diag. tool...

    I was actually looking for one that would detect what type of hardware was installed, ie type of motherboard, type of expansion cards.. if there is one out there..

    You can find that in the device manager. Right click my computer, go to Hardware... device manager.
