The HP Pavilion Media Center m8530f (KT334AA) desktop was released in May 2008 and came with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit.

Do the following in that computer:

Download and save the TSG System Information Utility (SysInfo.exe) file to the desktop.

After it's been downloaded and saved, double-click it to run it.

Information about your computer will appear.

Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE text here.

    Hi mcpresto,

About your booting problem if the system hangs on the loading screen I wouldn't think it is your PSU's fault. It could be your hard drive so with that in mind I suggest running a brand specific diagnostics tool on it and posting the SMART data here. You can find the testing tool on your manufacturer's website. There are, of course, other third-party tools that you could use, but the once from the manufacturer are developed specifically for such drives and thus yield the most accurate results. Make sure you do the extended test.
As for your graphics problem I would like to ask if the problem is present in all games or in just one? Good call on updating your GPU drivers, however, I would also suggest running a stress test on your system and sharing information about the temperatures of your components.

Also, do tell us if you have any other symptoms and what is the brand and model of your HDD.

P.S. If the hard drive turns out to have some problems in the SMART data doing a back up of all your important information is strongly recommended.

    Keep me posted,
    Frost_WD
