I've been running Windows 8 for couple of months and it keeps randomly crashing. Mostly when I have multiple tabs open in Firefox and many on going processes.

I believe I did a mistake when I upgraded some drivers via Windows update.

I tried to debug memory.dmp (8GB) but it keeps coming up with different thing.

I keep losing my work data on a daily basis.

I hope you guys can help me with this, because BSOD is driving me crazy :D

Try Internet explorer and let me know if you get the same problem.

You say windows 8 is crashing. Is it firefox crashing or windows 8 itself? If you receive the not responding words in the top bar of firefox and you can do everything normally on the computer itself (excluding firefox) then firefox is crashing and not windows 8. Let me know what happens or doesn't happen with internet explorer.

I doubt it's related to a software. However, it also happens if I work in Chrome. I only wanted to say it mostly happens under heavy load.

    I get BSOD.

Ah. You didn't say you get a BSOD. Try booting into safe mode with networking. See how it handles there.

I am experiencing the same thing. The BSOD has an error message but it clears to fast for me to read.

Stupid question , But how do you boot into safe mood with Win8? Did I mention that I hate Windows 8?

If you can boot: Run - msconfig - Boot tab - Safe Boot

If you cannot boot, good luck. See How To Boot Into Windows 8 Safe Mode.

Did somebody ask? :p (No offense intended.)
