    Hey,

I was at a friend's house last night and her pc had frozen. I tried to restart it, but I got a "CPU Fan Error" message. Friend smokes and fan and mother board were covered in black fuzz. I cleaned it up and put the cover back on the fan. I tried to boot the pc up, but all I get is a green light and 20 seconds later, it shuts down. The two fans that spin are working. I don't know how to know if the cpu fan is running. Anyhow, I brought it home with me to see if it was the power supply, but her power supply works on my working computer and my working power supply doesn't work on her pc. So, I don't think it's the power supply. Any ideas?

    Thanks!
