I routinely burn data CD-Rs on my Latitude WXP using the onboard CD BurningWizard. The information that I have is that the data on these discs (pdf files)would only be viewable on a PC with Adobe Reader or equivalent and not on a Mac.I now need the ability to burn the same data CD-Rs that would be usable on aMac. Dell Pro Tech support told me that I could do this with a CD-R buningsoftware such as Nero or Roxio Creator using either ISO9660 or Joliet format. An online chat with Roxio advised me that their Creator 2011 was just what Ineeded but its one-star feedback score on Amazon doesn't get me excited aboutspending $80 to find out if this thing works the way I need. I've had poorresults with earlier Roxio burners also.I have yet to investigate Nero.Besides the ability to burn Mac-readable CD-Rs, I also need the software to letme check the disk contents (data size, number of files, etc) & open up sopme ofthe pdfs to confirm successful burning.I'd greatly appreciate any advice from subscribers who have first-handexperience with this question.

    Thanks!

    Jack

Thanks. I will check that first one out. FYI, I only have a Dell Latitude with WXP. My question is related to finding a software package that willo let me burn Mac-compatible CD-R data disks & then be able to verify the data on the burned disks. I don't own a Mac.
