You have 2 AVs running - they often conflict. Uninstall Norton if your subscription has run out and continue with AVG. (or uninstall AVG ) - post back - by then one of the security experts will no doubt have taken a look at your log.

Note: I do highly suspect that running 2 anti-virus programs at the same time is adding to this problem.

Having 2 running causes conflicts on a system.
You should remove one of them.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then with IE closed, run Hijack This again.
Put a checkmark on these entries and hit "fix checked":

Boot into Safe Mode (start tapping the F8 key at Startup, before the Windows logo screen)

Navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder.
Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Go to Start > Run and type %temp% in the Run box.
The Temp folder will open. Click Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options.
On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files".
Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK.
Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button.
Click Apply then OK.

Empty the Recycle Bin.

Reboot, post a new log.

The error seems related to Java.

As far as the screen, not really sure. Maybe your video drivers need to be updated.

The only entry that needs to be fixed in your Hijack This log is:

O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/272a530...ip/RdxIE601.cab

The error you are receiving, may be because you have an older version of an ATI video card.

Resolve the error by reducing your video graphics acceleration setting.

Either that or upgrade your video card drivers.
Check ATI's web site to get updated drivers: http://www.ati.com/
