I was downloading League of Legends on a pretty clean pc, by clean I mean nothing was downloaded except for CPU-Z. I was watching youtube while the game are downloading, and then when I press esc to exit out of video everything kind of freezes. I can move and see the mouse cursor. The cap lock, num, and screen lock keys also worked. But the screen just freezes, Alt+Ctrl+Del key didn't work either. So I was forced to shut it down. I just got this pc back from a repair that cost me $225 because of a bricked motherboard so I'm kind of scare now.

Probably just a software glitch. You say you then restart it and it is working now, right?

yes, but I afraid it will happen again so I just want to make sure everything is alright. Also, does forcing the pc to shut down while downloading games hurts the pc?
