My PC switches itself off while burning DVDs. It used to work a few weeks ago but now it just dies and I have to power it back on. I've made no changes at all to my hardware config or operating system.

I don't think its' overheating as the PC can run for days without any issues.

    Any ideas?

Are you sure that it is not going to sleep or into hibernation?

Nope, it cuts out totally after about a minute or 2. Checked the power settings and they are all turned on to the longest settings.
